Commis-sioners. His term as chairman z for two years, although he is elected to serve on the board for a four-year term. He suc- 1 ceeds M. R. Michie, of Tabiona, as chairman. Mr. Michie has acted as board chairman for the past two years. He did not seek re-election as a board member. Ray Brown is the other retiring member of the Duchesne County Commission. Members of the board, besides Chairman Lamb, are Floyd Case of Mt. Emmons, hold-over member mem-ber with a two-year term yet to serve, and Clinton J. Mickel-son, Mickel-son, of Duchesne, who took the oath of office for a two-vear term at noon on Jan. 5. Mr. Mickelson has been appointed ap-pointed as a member of the Duchesne Du-chesne County Welfare Board to succeed M. R. Michie, of Tabiona, Tab-iona, representing the Duchesne County Commissioners. His appointment ap-pointment is for the term of h's office as county commissioner, which is for two vears. Mr. Michie has represented the commission com-mission as a welfare board mem. ber. Other members serving on the Duchesne County Welfare Board are Mrs. Fern Merrel'. Duchesne; Mrs. Ilean Poulson, Duchesne; Evan Bennion, Mt. Emmons; James Lloyd, Roosevelt; Roose-velt; Mrs. Enid Nelson, Roosevelt; Roose-velt; Mrs. Wilda Mitchell. Roosevelt. Roos-evelt. Lowell G. Coleman, of Duchesne, is director of the Duchesne Du-chesne County Welfare Department. Depart-ment. These board members meet once a month to review and approve or deny all applications for welfare assistance given by the Utah State Welfare Commission. Com-mission. They serve without compensation. Only a small 'expense 'ex-pense and mileage cost is allowed al-lowed to the members. |
