Otis Horrocks was called to Vernal. Tuesday and Wednesday to serve on the jury. y The small son of Mr. and Mrs Russell Phillips was christened Sunday. The name chosen for the lad was Craig Kelly Phillips Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Lons attended the Golden Wedding anniversary party of Mr. ani Mrs. Theodore Johnson, of Vernal, Ver-nal, Wednesday evening. Mr and Mrs. J. J. Miller, of Spring-ville, Spring-ville, came out and accompanied them to Vernal and later returned return-ed to spend the night at the Long home. Mrs. Long and Mrs Miller are cousins of Mrs. Johnson. John-son. ACCEPTS MISSION CALL Douglas Phillips, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Phillips, has received and accepted a call to go on a mission. The date and place has not as yet been made known. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Parnell unexpectedly un-expectedly came home Sunday night. Mr. Parnell is being transferred trans-ferred to Wyoming with the Will I. Lewis Drilling Co. They have been in Santa Paula the past few months. Mrs. Parnefl will visit with her parents, the Houstons. for a couple of weeks before going to Wyoming. Mrs. Frances Bowen is home again after a month's vacation in the East and Salt Lake City. |
