Show Mrs. Fern Houston Annual Affair Mrs. Doris Haslem entertained entertain-ed at a birthday dinner in her home Wednesday, the group who; through the years have entertained enter-tained each year and were present pres-ent at this party were, Edith Allred, Jennie Haslem and Nila Batty, of Vernal; Lurrine Allen, Al-len, of Pleasant Valley; Evelyn Brighton, of Ballard, and Nellie Horrocks, of Bennett. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Coltharp and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Coltharp spent Thursday at Paradise Park, fishing. The day was lovely love-ly and the catch was good. Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Hamaker, of Pala Alto, Calif., are visiting here with his brother and family, fam-ily, Marvin Haniaker. They came by Tooele and Mrs. Mary Hamaker, mother of the boys, came out and is here also. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hartle have been visiting at the home of her daughter and family, the Oral Halls. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Horrocks visited at the home of Morrell Labrum in Roosevelt, Saturday. Also there from Salt Lake City were Mr. and Mrs. Cloy Allred, a sister to both Mrs. Labrum and Mrs. Horrocks. Mary Bolton and Reva Hall attended the Primary Preparation Prepara-tion meeting at Roosevelt. Saturday. Sat-urday. ! Mrs. Reva Hall and her mother, moth-er, Mrs. Fred Hartle, attended the 4-H dress revue and exhibit. Mrs. Hall is the club leader. |
