Show FANCY FIXERS IOKA The Fancy Fixers met at the home of Edith Gentry August 19. The meeting was called to order by(the president. Ila Vaye Lemon. The mniutes were read and the roll was called by the secreatry. Marcia Lemon. A special guest was Kay Saunders of Salt Lake City. We discussed the health 'H' followed follow-ed by the good grooming quiz. A lengthy discussion on canning and freezing was given, and a report given by each girl. Plans were then made to demonstrate dem-onstrate at the county fair with full instructions given. We were elated to receive word that our club won the first prize at the Yellowstone 4-H outing for having a clean camp. Refreshments were served and the meeting was dismissed by the president Regina Reay, President H-H-H-H BRIDGELAND We held our meeting at the home of our leader, Alice Beal, Monday. We have only one more meeting this year. We all expect to have our projects finished next week and take them to the exhibit. We feel that we have had a very good club this yean We have worked hard, and we hope we can carry on next year. Joyce Beal, Reporter H-H-H-H BOBBIN WINDERS On Thursday, Aug. 27, the Bobbin Winders in the compapy of their leader, Mrs. Dot Otto-' Otto-' sen, and Home Demonstration Agent Mary Lois Reichert, went on a tour of five homes in Roosevelt. Roos-evelt. The tour was conducted in connection with the girls' home improvement projects. They visited the lovely homes of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Stringham, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Montgom-. Montgom-. ery, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Raw-lings, Raw-lings, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison and Mr. and Mrs. Fran Harrison. After the tour Mrs. Ottosen treated the group to refreshments refresh-ments at the Modern Drug. On Sept. 2, Carol Todd and Renae Eldredge are planning to compete in the Wool Growers district contest, which will be held in Vernal.
