Show Kenneth McClellan, who was principal at Neola last year, and was principal at Talmage two years prior, received his Master's Mas-ter's Degree in elementary education edu-cation from the University of Utah in exercises held last Friday Fri-day night. He wrote his thesis on the Ute Indian. Mr. and Mrs. McClellan and their two children, Connie and Mike, are leaving for Redlands, Calif., where Mr. McClellan will teach school. j Mrs. Renn Fenn and daughter. daugh-ter. June, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Roberts and family and Mrs. Verna Bird, of Duchesne, motored motor-ed to Salt Lake City for a few days last week. While there Mrs. Fenn and Mr. and Mrs. Roberts visited the Temple. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Harmston have returned from Vallejo, Calif., where they went to get their son, Dickie, who' has been visiting for the past few weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Nor-ling. Nor-ling. Mr. Norling returned to Roosevelt with the Harmstons for a short visit and to take care of business matters. Audrey Hall and Glenda Rae Robinson, of Salt Lake City, visited over the weekend with their parents. They returned to their work Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. David Alexander Alexan-der and daughter, of Salt Lake City, and Miss Mary White, of Tremonton, Utah, visited relatives rela-tives and friends in Roosevelt last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Al-exander were guests of his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Alexander, Al-exander, while Miss White was the guest of Misses JeNeal Pack and Donna Murray. . i Mrs. Mary Ellen Gardner left Friday for Pacific Grove, Calif.. where she will make her home while Mr. ' Gardner is stationed at Fort Ord. Calif, with the army. Mr. and Mrs. Burr Eldredge have returned to Roosevelt after af-ter spending the summer in Massachusetts. The Bruce Fitzgeralds have sold their home in Roosevelt and have moved to Bridgeland. Sheldon Fitzgerald and family are moving in this week. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Johansen and two children were in Salt Lake City, Wednesday and Thursday. Main purpose oi the trip was to visit Mr. Johansen's father, who underwent an operation oper-ation in a Salt Lake City hospital. hos-pital. Mrs. Johansen's sister, Kathleen Ralphs, of Ferron, returned re-turned to Roosevelt with them for a short visit. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Mitchell and son, Bruce, accompanied by Benny Riding and Kent Angus enjoyed a three-day fishing trip to Uinta Canyon last week. The Oscar Sweat family enjoyed en-joyed a visit last week from their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Evan Bab-cock Bab-cock and sons, Gilbert and Jim my, of Las Vegas, Nevada. Joyce Sweat returned to Las Vegas for a few days visit before be-fore enrolling in school. The Sweats also had a surprise sur-prise visit from Mr. and Mrs. Evan Tanner and sons, Alan, Gene and Ronald, of Las Vegas. Bruce Calder, of Magna, Utah, visited with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Jensen, over the weekend. While here he blessed the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Ben-nie Schmiett in Fast Meeting j Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. John Wogec and Jean Roller are spending a week vacationing in California. Erma Eldredge was here during dur-ing the week for a short visit prior to leaving on her mission to France. Mr. and Mrs. Gail Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. David Wilson, of Provo, were here to attend the farewell party for their brother, broth-er, Larry, who is leaving to fulfill a mission for the LDS church.
