Show Girls 4-H Clubs Plan Exhibits At County Fair By Mary Lois Reichert This year the girls 4-H exhibits ex-hibits are under the direction of five 4-H Club leaders: Mildred Mil-dred Smith, Duchesne, is supervisor su-pervisor of the 4-H foods; Ada-line Ada-line Anderson, Talmage, 4-H clothing-; Nadene Ottosen, Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, home Improvement; Dot Ottosen, Roosevelt, demonstrations; demonstra-tions; and Helen Buxton, Roosevelt, Roose-velt, style dress revue. These women are really doing a fine job in preparing for the fair. There are about 260 girls in 4-H Club work this year, and in order for them to complete their work they must exhibit at the County Fair. The exhibits should be brought to the exhibit building at the fair grounds on WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 2. These supervisors will accept exhibits from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on that date. This year, there will only be S 1 individual exhibits in the Coun- ty Fair. There will be no group exhibits here. The group exhibits exhib-its to be sent to' the State Fair will be selected by the judges from the individual exhibits. The judging of exhibits will be Thursday. Sept. 4. at 10:00 a.m. This judging is NOT open to the public. On Friday, Sept. 4, at 2:00 p.m. at the Duchesne stake house, will be the Style Dress Revue. Then at 3:00 p.m. the demonstration contests wlU be held. We would like to invite 1 all parents of 4-H members and anyone interested in youtn-tcf attend the Style Dress Revue and the Demonstration contests. |
