Show Our Boys In The Service JASPER L. FELTER PACIFIC FLEET (FHTNC) Among the 12,000 men who participated par-ticipated in the largest and most extensive training exercise since World War II was Jasper L. Fel-ter, Fel-ter, damage eontrolman third class, USN, son of Mrs. Lile Butcher, of Roosevelt, Utah aboard the destroyer USS Uhl-mann. Uhl-mann. JACK H. BACON, AN Mrs. George Bacon Bason received re-ceived word last week that her son, Jack, had arrived in the Pescadores aboard the ship USS Salisbury Sound. He will remain re-main there for a month before being shipped to Okinawa where he will be stationed for some time. AN Bacon enlisted in the Navy October 3, 1950 and received re-ceived his basic training at San Diego, Calif. Before being shipped ship-ped overseas he worked at a radio man on a R6D Liftmaster and made flights to Alaska, Hawaii, Ha-waii, Japan, Germany, England, Scotland and Tripoli in Africa. |
