Show Junior Social and Culture Club Members met at the home of Mrs Frank Yack Monday evening. even-ing. The book review was given by Mrs. Ned Gincs and favorite recipes were exchanged. Mrs. Theron Lcavitt was appointed chairman of the Kindergarten committee. Those present were Mrs. Bill Nelson, Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, Mrs. Bill Litster, Mrs. Ned Gines, Mrs. Theron Lcavitt, Mrs. Parley Rawlings, Mrs. Stanley Hall, Mrs. Bernard Lar-sen, Lar-sen, LaRue Allred, Louise Pres-cott. Pres-cott. Mrs. Ned Bellon and the hostess, Mrs. Yack. Bridgeile Club Mrs. Mont Killian entertained the members of the Bridgette club at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Moysh Thursday evening. A lovely luncheon was served after which tables were arranged for bridge. Members present were Mrs. Gordon Harmston, Mrs. Parley Rawlings, Mrs. Ned Bellon, Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, Mrs. Karl Burgess, Bur-gess, M.rs. Bernard Larsen, Miss Karma Dec Harmston and the hostess, Mrs. Killian, Bridge Party Mrs. Gordon Harmston. was hostess to a delightfully arranged bridge party Wednesday evening. even-ing. A lovely luncheon was served ser-ved after which tables were arranged ar-ranged for bridge. Mary Weiss, Helen Burgess, Bur-gess, Nell Wilkins, Virginia Rig-by Rig-by and the hostess, Cam Harmston. Friday Bridge M.rs. R. Q. Warnock entertained entertain-ed the members of the Friday bridge club at her home Friday evening. Covers were laid for Mrs. Fred C, Ferron, Mrs. J. O. Orser, Mrs. Axel Birch, Mrs. Gordon Harmston. Mrs. Eugene Harmston, Mrs. Paul Wilkins, Mrs. Sam Weiss, Mrs. Karl Burgess, Bur-gess, Mrs. Mont Killian, Mrs. Robert Huish, Miss Karma Dee Harmston and Mrs. Less Mullins. Safeway Outing Employees of the local Safeway Safe-way store enjoyed an outing up Uintah canyon Sunday, when a chicken dinner was served with all the trimmings. Those attending attend-ing were: Manager and Mrs. Floyd Roberts and son, Richard Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Oldroyd, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Adams and daughter, Bonnie, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wahlquist, Mrs. Wanda Nielson and daughter, Wanda, Mrs. Ora Holgate and daughter, Betty. Roosevelt Ward Relief Society Social The Roosevelt Ward Relief society will hold a social Tuesday Tues-day evening in the ward chapel at 8:30 p. m. All Relief society women of the ward a.re invited to attend, reports Mrs. Jane Page president. Daughters of Utah Pioneers The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Pio-neers will meet at the home of Mrs. Mary Orser, Friday, June 23rd at 3 p. m. All members and eligible members are urged to attend. New Arrival Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Wardell of Montwell are the proud parents par-ents of a 7 lb. baby girl, born June 4th. Mrs. Wardell and babe are doing fine at the Harmston home in Roosevelt. Jenkins-Giles A marriage license was issued at the County Clerk's office in Duchesne May 27th to Edward Jay Jenkins of Ballad and Miss Betty Jean Giles of Myton. |
