Bastain J. Richardson il Dick Bastain, Seaman 2-c, son It of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan E. Bastain 3 of Neola, entered the Navy Jan-3 Jan-3 uary, 1944. He took his "boot" 3 training at Farragut, Idaho and -I he is now going to radio school 1 at Boulder, Colorado. His broth-i broth-i er, Shirley Bastain, Seaman 1-c is serving overseas and at one j time was stationed in England. !j SERVING OVERSEAS j T-Sgt. Jack Richardson left v Roosevelt in 1938 and moved to i Grass Valley, California, where ,i he finished his school and work-3 work-3 ed as a steam fitter for Southern ''( Pacific railroad company in Sac- ramento for one and half years, after which he was inducted into the Army May 2, 1943, at Mon- tery, California, in the Railway shop division. He received his ip, basic training at New Orleans, u Louisana and in October, 19.43, he was transferred to Camp Rob--I inson and is now overseas. -J VISITS FAMILY ?
