Show Myton City News Section Home on Furlough Arvel J. Nielson G. M. 3-c, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson. Niel-son. left Saturday with his father fath-er for Salt Lake City, where he will visit his sister, Thressa, and relatives. He has been overseas one year and 3 months and will report at San Francisco June 14. Farewell Parly , A large crowd met at the home, of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson Thursday evening to honor Arvel Nielson. Delicious - refreshments were served by the hostesses, Mrs. Wm, Preece and Mrs. Wm. Harris. Birthday Parly Mrs. Afton Richens was surprised sur-prised on her birthday by the following, fol-lowing, Mrs. Devon Gentry, June, Laurel and lone Snyder, Mrs. H. P. Davenport, Rea Wing and Mrs. Patricia, Friday. The following boys went to Salt Lake City Friday for pre-induction pre-induction physical examinations: Calvin and Ted Monks, Vaughn Peterson, Rex Lamb, Charles Edwards, Ed-wards, Clifford Adams, Carl Young and DeVere Hancock. Mrs T.ionrl Babcock went to Los Angeles, California Thursday Thurs-day to visit her son. Arthur Kurd went to Vernal Thursday on business. Mrs. Mildred Mitchell, sister of Mrs. Floyd Lamb has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Homer Peterson Pet-erson of Delta and friends in Salt Lake City for two weeks. Miss Nina Bchunin came home to help her father, George Be-hunin Be-hunin on the ranch this summer. Max Robinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson left Friday Fri-day for Salt Lake City where he is taking Army specialized training train-ing at University of Utah starting Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Robinson were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cooper Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Actams and daughter, Bonnie of Roosevelt were visiting Mr. and Mrs. James Dalglcish Friday evening. 4. . Mr. and Mrs. Oral Miles went to Salt Lake City for a six weeks visit Monday. New Arrivals Mr. and Mrs. Jay Smith are the proud parents of a baby girl, born June 3rd at the home of Mrs. Leonard Harris. Mr. and Mrs. Seth Campbell are the proud parents of a baby boy, born June 12th at Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Smith of Price, formerly of Myton have a baby boy, born June 9th. Miss Dolly Brummit was operated op-erated on in Vernal Friday for appendicitis. Mrs. Arvel Warren and daughter daugh-ter of Ogden are visiting her sister, Mrs. Ole Peterson. Mrs. Ada Williams of California Californ-ia is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wing. Mrs. Patricia went to Los Angeles Saturday. She has been visiting her sister, Mrs. H. M. Davenport. Mr- and Mrs. Dan Urcsk and daughter of Helper are visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mat Uresk. Mrs. Ronald Davis and baby of Bingham are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gingell. Misses Helen Atwood and Sue Smith of Ogden are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wing. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Tanner of the North Myton Bench were visiting Mrs. George Tanner Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. George Roth of Vernal were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kochler. Betty Bet-ty accompanied her parents home, she has been with her aunt and uncle for the past three weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart of Duchesne Du-chesne and Mrs. Eleanor La Bront of Salt Lake City were Visiting Mr. and Mrs James Dal-gleish Dal-gleish Thursday. |
