Show Roosevelt Ward Primary Reorganized At Sacrament meeting Sunday evening at the Roosevelt Ward chapel Mrs. Nedra Stone, the president of the Roosevelt Primary Pri-mary recommended the following follow-ing boys for graduation: Duane Lisonbee, Larry Wilson, Hugh Murray, Paul Pitt, Don McClel-lan, McClel-lan, Jack McLea, Harold Bow-den, Bow-den, Glen Killian, Lynn Mower. They were presented their certificates cer-tificates and accepted in the Scout and MIA organization. The following program was carried car-ried out: Quartette consisting of Norma Call, Donna Rae Labrum, John E. Wiscombe and Avard A. Rigby, accompanied by Mrs. Lela Labrum; presentation of the MIA porgram by Golden Collins which consisted of talks by Lowell Hall, Alice Todd and Mary Dillman, their subject being be-ing different phases of the MIA slogan; piano selection, David Wilson; vocal solo, Donna Rae Labrum accompanied by Mrs. Labrum: reading. Carma Win- terton. Mrs. LeVerne Heiner played the organ for the opening and closing numbers and the sacrament music .Bishop Ritchie presented the officers of the Primary Pri-mary association for release, Mrs. Nedra Stone, president; Mrs. Mildred Anderson, 1st counselor; coun-selor; Mrs. Eva Bellon, 2nd counselor; and Helen Fredrick-son, Fredrick-son, secretary; for the approval for the following new officers: Mrs. Faun Leavitt, president; Mrs, Lulu Nixon, 1st counselor; Mrs. Myrle Gines, 2nd counselor; Mrs. Norma Broadbent, secretary. secre-tary. Eva June Galloway was released re-leased as secretary of the Sunday school and Virginia Hancock sustained as the new secretary. |
