"Now that 'D'Day is here, there should be no disposition on the part of any one to exploit a black market .It is only the very thoughtless person who will not cooperate with his country. That there is a critical shortage of gasoline gas-oline and fuel oils throughout the nation is well known to every man of the industry. While the shortage is not quite so ac-cute ac-cute in this region, the fact remains re-mains that every gallon of gasoline gas-oline illegally purchased and used is retarding the war at just a time when victory is in sight. When the people see the true picture, they will be eager to cooperate co-operate in the conservation of petroleum products." |
