Mrs. Wm. H. Ruppel went to Salt Lake City Tuesday in company com-pany with Mrs. Eugene Harmston. Harm-ston. They will return the end of this week. Mrs. George E. Adams of Vernal Ver-nal was a visitor in Roosevelt Friday, while here made this office of-fice a pleasant call. Miss Glenna Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hansen of Logan is spending a few days visiting here with friends and relatives. Miss Ruth Jorgcnsen, who has been visiting two weeks with her mother, Mrs. Annie Jorgensen, left Tuesday for Santa Barbara, California to spend the summer. John E. Wiscombe attended the Duchesne county Board of Education meeting held at Duchesne Du-chesne Tuesday. Vahl Bodily, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Bodily was operated oper-ated on Monday at the Vernal hospital for the removal of his appendix. Mrs. C. L. Piper, Ft DuchesneF and Miss Alice Todd of Myton were in Salt Lake last week to attend the wedding of Miss Margaret Mar-garet Ferron. Victor Wills of Ogden, who has been in Roosevelt for the past month taking care of his farm, has returned to Ogden where he is employed. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hacking went to Salt Lake City Tuesday for a checkup on Mrs. Hacking who was operated on a few weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Mecham returned Monday from Salt Lake where they had been to take their daughter, Meta to an ear specialist. Her condition is not much improved. Mrs. Agnes Tait, mother of Mrs. Erve Wardle, who has been visiting with her son in Wyoming Wyom-ing for the past several months has returned to Roosevelt where she makes her home. Mrs. Frank Orser left Thursday Thurs-day for Logan to spend a few weeks visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Crockett and family; Mrs. Crockett was formerly Miss Alta Orser. Mrs. Bill Litster left last week for Salt Lake City where she will attend the U of U this summer. sum-mer. Mrs. Litster was instructor of Commercial Art at the Roosevelt Roose-velt High last school term. Miss Pearl Drollinger, who has been working in Los Angeles, California the past winter returned re-turned home Friday to visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arden Drollinger. Miss Arvil Todd returned to " work Monday at J. C. Penneys store after spending an enjoyable two weeks vacation visiting friends fri-ends and relatives in Provo and Salt Lake City. The Misses Mona and Thella Willson, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Seth Wilson are home for a visit. They have been attending attend-ing the Agricultural college at Logan. Mrs. J. J. Miller, manager of the Roosevelt hotel, made a trip to Springville Sunday to take her mother, Mrs. J. P. Rudy of San Francisco, who has been visiting here the past month. Mr. and Mrs. Czar Rudy accompanied accompan-ied them. |
