Show Vital Need for Workers in the Uintah Basin Ray N. Tuttle, acting manager of the Roosevelt United States Employment office, says there is an urgent need for all available male workers in the Uintah Basin Ba-sin in the timber, mining and creamery industries. There industries in-dustries are vital to War production produc-tion and all workers who are not employed full time should make every effort to help in this desperate des-perate need. Special appeal should be made to all farmers or agricultural workers who may be employed only part time or capable of working until harvest time in one of these industries. Manning these industries, which are a part of the growing Uintah Basin, should be of the greatest importance to all citizens citi-zens of this area. We appeal to you to do your utmost to influence influ-ence those around you to aid in obtaining the workers needed in these essential activities. All who are interested are urged to report immediately to the War Manpower commission, USES office of-fice at Roosevelt, Utah. |
