': Outstanding Bountiful Junior High School students who demonstrated exemplary attitudes, atti-tudes, examples and work habits, were recently awarded recognition as being "Exemplary "Exem-plary Eagles." Students honored at BJHS By DONETA GATHERUM BOUNTIFUL Twenty-four outstanding Bountiful Junior High School students have been given special Exemplary Eagle recognition recogni-tion for the first semester of school. The students who have demonstrated demons-trated exemplary attitudes, examples exam-ples and work are Katie Anderson, LeeAnn Bennett, Leslie Bryson, Michael Davis, Tami DeWaal, Alisha Edison, Matt Een, Jose Garcia, Jana Lee Gines, Nicole Gold, Jason Hess, Kim Izatt, Pam Jones, Ryan Keller, Travis Lyb-bert, Lyb-bert, Sandi Page, Jared Peterson, Jeff Sales, Clay Sniteman, Heather Sniteman, Mica Talbot, Brandi Vest, Trevor Willey, Russell Zesiger. The Exemplary Eagle recognition recogni-tion program is just beginning at Bountiful Junior. Sponsored by the PTA, the purpose of the program is to allow teachers to nominate outstanding out-standing students for the recognition recogni-tion on a semester basis. An Exemplary Eagle tries harder than other students, has a super attitude going beyond ordinary ex- pectations, is positive, shows enthusiasm en-thusiasm and example through many sharing programs including the "Quarters for Christmas" drive, has a pleasant disposition, is a good leader and a good influence on other students, is an example in cooperation, refinement and helpfulness, help-fulness, completes assignments with high quality work, is helpful to students with learning disabilities without being asked, is willing to serve on special committees and spends many hours before and after af-ter school developing abilities in order to represent the school in a fine manner. Pat Soper is the PTA committee chairman in charge of developing and following through with the Exemplary Ex-emplary Eagle program. |
