Show Seniors improve driving Milton Ouzts, representing the American Association of Retired Persons, has just completed teaching a class "55 Alive." Mr. Ouzts instructed 22 senior citizens in this class at the Golden Years Center. The class reviewed a booklet, "55 Alive, Mature Driv-. Driv-. ing" published by the National AARP. This driver improvement course was written for motorists 50 years of age and older. It was designed to update driving skills for today's -complex roadways and to help maintain your driving mobility for years to come. If other senior citizens are interested in-terested in becoming volunteer instructors, in-structors, get in touch with Mr. Ouzts or the Golden Years Center. If you would be interested in taking tak-ing this class, leave your name at the Center for Mr. Ouzts so he might arrange another class. The class is an eight hour class and the cost is $7. Each student is provided with material to study and discuss. Insurance companies are now required to give a discount to those who have taken the course. |
