Show Accident Reports On Oct. 3 Patrolman Gary McFarland investigated an accident acci-dent at the Davis High School parking lot. SALLY Secrist of 22 E. Joy Dr., Farmington was eastbound making a left turn at the same time the vehicle vehi-cle driven by Jill L. Jeppson of 1509 N. 1500 W., Farmington was making mak-ing a right turn southbound. Both vehicles were ion a head-on-course with the Secrist vehicle attempting to swerve left of the Jeppson vehicle vehi-cle which also braked hard to stop. Patrolman Gary McFarland investigated in-vestigated another accident on Oct. 3 at 700 E. 250 S., Kaysville. CRAIG R. Neville of 310 S. 900 E., Kaysville and Timothy M. Lambrose of 32 W. 500 N.. Kaysville Kays-ville were involved. Neville was southbound making a wide right turn and collided with the left side of the Lambrose vehicle vehi-cle which was eastbound on 250 South. NEVILLE was cited for fault for improper lookout. On Oct. 3 Patrolman McFarland investigated an accident involving Richard D. Joiner of 831 Shannon Road, Kaysville and Edward P. Smith of Roy were hit. The Joiner vehicle was parked legally at the curb in front of his residence unattended, un-attended, when Smith was backing into the residence at 832 Shannon Road to deliver some items when he hooked the inside fender of the Joiner vehicle, tearing the bumper apart. ON OCT. 4, Louise P. Cheney of 674 E. 200 N., Kaysville and Norman Nor-man Charles Pears of 87 S. 400 W.. Kaysville were involved in an auto-bike auto-bike accident. Mrs. Cheney was moving westbound west-bound on 200 North into the right turn lane approaching the traffic signal light on Main Street. She was wailing for the light to change to proceed through the intersec-" tion. NORMAN Pears was riding a 10-speed 10-speed bicycle exited at the 7-11 store northbound going in between the vehicles. He saw the Cheney vehicle and attempted to stop, however, his hand brake failed and he collided with the drivers side of the Cheney car. Damage resulted to both the"' vehicle and the bike Pears suffered''-' minor abrasions. OCT. 5, Officer Dave HelquisU investigated an accident that"; occurred at 300 E. 75 N. off Crest-:;: wood. Sally W. Estes of 372 E. 700 N., Kaysville and Alonna Strong of 2032 N. Valley View. Layton, were involved in the accident.". Driver Estes was southbound on '; 300 E. Driver Strong was backing ' from a private driveway onto 300; E. As Strong backed onto the"-: street, she collided with the Estes : vehicle. Strong was issued a cita- -tion. np : |
