Show Guide To Safe Halloween Lakeview Hospital Will X-Ray Halloween Goodies w "Trick or Treat?" Children all over America expect to receive the treat, but sometimes individuals pjay nasty tricks. MANY SO called tricks can be very dangerous. Bountiful's Lake-view Lake-view Hospital encourages children and parents to be extra careful this Halloween. Parents should check the Halloween candy for signs of tampering -- either discoloration or torn wrappers. The Radiology Department at Lakeview Hospital will offer free X-rays of Halloween candy on Wednesday, Oct. 31 and Thursday, Thurs-day, Nov. 1 from 6-10 p.m. Parents and children should enter the hospital hos-pital through the east entrance. "PARENTS should be aware that X-rays only show metalic objects," ob-jects," said Michael Creason, Lakeview's chief radiology technologist. tech-nologist. "X-rays will not show glass or plastic," he added. According to Mr. Creason. Lakeview Hospital has never found any foreign objects in the Halloween treats x-rayed by .the Radiology department.
