Show Wildcat Ways By DAWN GRAHAM Happy Halloween! To all you spirited Wildcats. We hope your week has gone as planned. Monday was wear all the orange and black colors that you have. Tuesday is the Halloween assembly, which was absolutely great and Wednesday Wednes-day you should have dressed up in the most outrageous costume you can put together. The person with ' the best costume will be rewarded. LAST Thursday was another victory for the varsity football team, they defeated East with the score of 28-7. Great job. We now qualify in the state playoffs, which is absolutely great, our next game will be this Friday. So keep your eyes and ears open for the time, place and who we play. Be there! These games are really important to our football team so let's go out and support them the best we can. Sadie Hawkins turned out to be a great success, thanks to the 1 984-85 984-85 Chatelles. The royalty were King and Queen, Julie Clegg and Todd Benson; 1st attendants, Jill Jensen and Mike Chamberlin; 2nd attendants, Lisa Mattinson and Jeff Nielson. Congratulations. OUR AWESOME drama department depart-ment has broken all records once again. On Thursday, Oct. 25, you outstanding drama students competed com-peted in the annual Utah State University Uni-versity poetry festival. They brought back 54 superior ratings and 22 double superior ratings. Fifteen Fif-teen students had the honor of receiving re-ceiving outstanding student in one round-a baffling number. Last, but certainly not least, six out of nine of the most prestigious awards were awarded to Woods Cross. This award, Outstanding Reader in both rounds was given to Karon Brisendine Porter, Kris Schneider, Barbara Pitt, Emily Collard, Brandon Hobbs and Melissa Day. In the 43 years that the festival has been in existence, never have been more awards earned by one school. Woods Cross has broken another record. Way to go drama department and I Coach Bonnie Hobbs.
