Show No Overnight Parking In W VAL VERDA - Residents of Val Verda and the unincorporated area of South Davis County may find an "illegal parking" citation on their car windshield if the vehicle vehi-cle is left parked overnight on a public street. CAPT. K.D. Simpson, commander comman-der of the Patrol Division for the Davis County Sheriffs Department, Depart-ment, said vehicles parked on public pub-lic streets between midnight and 5 a.m. will be cited. "It's essential that all vehicles, including recreation vehicles, be kept off the streets at night to allow for early morning snow removal," said Capt. Simpson. "The early winter snowfall a couple of weeks ago caused snow plow operators to be hindered by vehicles left parked on the streets." HE NOTED that cities in Davis County have a similar ordinance which prohibits, or limits overnight on-street parking. |
