Show Gulbransen Rites .( I 1 . '"W 1 ; r 1 V" 'j RALPH V. GULBRANSEN Ralph Vernon Gulbransen, 56, 1211 East 300 South, Bountiful died of cancer at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City Aug. 19, 1975. HE WAS born Sept. 13, 1918 in Seattle, Washington to Alf " Peder Gulbransen and Betsy Ovedia Johannsen. He - married Ruth Fry April 6, ; . ; 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was affiliated with the LDS 35th Bountiful Ward. He : was raised in Seattle, lived in California, Lima, Peru, Reno, i and Bountiful. He resided in Bountiful since 1971. MR. GULBRANSEN was a supervisor at IRS. He served in the Finance Division 8th ; Air Force during world war : II. He was a graduate of the University of Washington. He was former bishop of the ward he was raised in, served in a southern states mission 1940-41. He was a former : member of the high council and served - as branch president in Lima, Peru. He was a member of the Toast-masters. Toast-masters. Survivors are his wife, sons and daughters, Ralph Vernon Gulbransen Jr., Rexburg, Ida.; John Wilford Gulbran- . sen, Cotati, Calif.; Robert Leroy Gulbransen, Murray. DAVID GORDON Gulbransen, Gulbran-sen, with the U.S. Navy in Vallejo, Calif.; Mrs. Jack (Betty) LaHargoue, Pasadena, Pas-adena, Calif.; Mrs. Gary : (Christine) Stevenson, Orem; and Susan Gail of Bountiful; and also eight grandchildren. FUNERAL services will be held Friday, Aug. 22, at noon : at the Lindquist Bountiful Mortuary. Bishop Bruce Crowther, Bountiful 35th ; Ward will officiate. Services will be as follows: ; family prayer - R. Vernon . Gulbransen; prelude - Neone ' Jones; musical selection by : Bernice Evans, "He that Hath ; Clean Hands and a Pure : Heart," accompanied by - Neone Jones. INVOCATION - Gary Stevenson; bishop's remarks - Bishop Bruce Crowther; speakers - John W. Gulbransen Gulbran-sen (obituary), Mary Lou Shaver (remarks), and Wilford Wil-ford H. Payne. Musical selection by Norma Hawkes, "Eternal Life," Norma Hawkes, accompanied by Neone Jones; musical selection by Wilford Hickison, "High on a Mountain Top," accompanied by Genevieve Hickison; dedication of grave by Robert L. Gulbransen; interment in-terment in Bountiful Memorial Park. PALLBEARERS: R. Vernon Ver-non Gulbransen, John W. Gulbransen, Robert L. Gulbransen, David G. Gulbransen, Frank Gulbransen, Gulbran-sen, Gary Stevenson, and Jack LaHargoue. Care of the flowers will be by the Bountiful 35th Ward Relief Society. |
