Isabel McGuire has returned re-turned from a month's stay in Copenhagen, Denmark. She reports the city and the country as being very beautiful. beau-tiful. It was a "double header" for Don and Clara Gold and their family on Sunday, Aug. 10. The Sacrament meeting in the fourth Ward on that day, honored their son, Mark, who had just returned from a mission mis-sion to Ireland and another son John, who is leaving soon on a mission to Washington state. Visiting with Mrs. LaVaun Burgin the past week was her sister-in-law from Bell, Calif., Mrs. Grace Goff. Visiting with the Alma and Eulala Hansen family, were friends of their daughter Shelia's, Darla and Cal Stanger from Rexburg, Ida. The open house held on Sunday, Sun-day, Aug. 18 in honor of Rulon and Avilla Fords Golden Wedding Wed-ding Anniversary was a lovely affair. It was held in the spacious back yard of their daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Bloomfield's home and a great host of friends and neighbors attended to congratulate the pair. All of their eight children, with their mates and families were present, including their daughter Emma, and her husband who is David Glover, the son of Val and Hattie Glover, and whose home is in Lafayette, Ind.
