Show ; ' ; ' , f MRS. STEVEN ORLAND PETERSON August Nuptials Diane Luddington will become the bride of Steven Orland Peterson on Aug. 22 with the marriage being solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. THE BRIDE is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Dean F. Luddington, Lud-dington, 295 East 2050 South. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. V. Orland Peterson Pe-terson of Moreland, Ida. The couple will be honored at a wedding breakfast at Oakridge Country Club. Parents of the bridgroom will be the hosts. That evening they will be further honored with a garden reception at the home of the bride's parents. THE NEW Mrs. Peterson will wear a chiffon gown with an empire waist. The bodice and sleeves are trimmed with various delicate laces. The bottom features a deep ruffle with three rows of wide lace. Her elbow length veil of illusion falls from a lace covered cap. Her bouquet will be an old fashioned nosegay of miniature yellow and -white rose buds, stephanotis and baby's breath. Maid of honor will be her sister, Sharon Luddington. Bridesmaids will be Karen Albrand and Anita Schwabedessin. Also attending attend-ing her as bridesmaids will be Ulene Peterson, Carolene Peterson, Pe-terson, and Jann Peterson, with Maralee Peterson as flower girl, all sisters of the bridegroom. THEY WILL wear dresses of sheer floral dotted Swiss over checkered gingham, each in a different pastel color. They will carry baskets of old fashioned garden flowers. Mothers' gowns will be of yellow knit crepe and they will wear corsages of multicolored multi-colored garden flowers. BEST MAN will be Bryce Peterson, brother of the bridegroom. Head usher is Richard Luddington, a brother of the bride. Ushers will be Marvin Luddington, John Luddington, Stephen Luddington, also brothers of the bride, and Patrick Dean. The newlyweds will also be feted at an open house in Mooreland, Ida., Saturday Aug. 23, hosted by the bridegroom's parents AN engagement party was given at the Lion House by the bride's mother. Other prenuptial parties were given by Mrs. L. Kirkwood Collins, Mrs. Max Couley, Miss Karen Albrand and Mrs. Stephen Graham, Mrs. Kenneth M. Smith, Mrs. Ralph L. Goeh-nour, Goeh-nour, and Mrs. Stuart B. Cannon, Can-non, Miss Sharon Luddington, Mrs. G. Denzel G. Williams, Mrs. G. Val Lofgreen, and Mrs. William Bush. Diane is attending BYU and will graduate in December with a BA in elementary education. STEVEN graduated from Ricks College where he affiliated af-filiated with Phi Theta Kappa. He will graduate next April with a degree in prephysical therapy from BYU. He is a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta. He filled a LDS mission to Arizona. The young couple will make their new home in Orem. |
