Show Funeral Rites for Laura B. Nebeker Held Last Saturday Relatives and friends from far and near assembled Saturday at the First-Fifth Ward Chapel to pay last tribute of respect to Laura Nebeker, 95, Pleasant Grove's oldest citizen and offer felicitations to her family. The impressive service began at 1 p.m. with Bishop Vilace Radmall presiding. Invocation was offered by David Da-vid B. Blackhurst. The Fifth ward Singing Mothers directed by Margie Wadley, sang "Behold 'Tis Eventide." They were accompanied ac-companied by Ardith Lewis. Biography of the long and busy life of Mrs. Nebeker was read by Carole Buchi. Speakers who paid tribute to the life of the departed woman and her life of service to her family and her church and her sweet neighborliness were S. A. Kirk and Hyrum E. Bradley of Santaquin with closing remarks of sympathy and appreciation by Bishop Radmall. Special musical number was a vocal duet "In the Garden" by Patricia Seely and Jeanne Walker, Walk-er, accompanied by Geraldine Halstrom who also played prelude and postlude organ music. Mrs. Seely and Mrs. Walker also sang the closing number, "Beyond the Sunset." Prior to the church service, family prayer at the closing- of the casket was offered by Roy Slack. Benediction was pronounced pronoun-ced by R. Wayne Haddock of the bishopric. Interment, directed by Olpin-Sundberg Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary, was made in the Pleasant Grove City cemetery where the dedicatorial prayer was offered by President Ertmann Christensen. Pallbearers -were grandsons, Richard and Jack Peeples, Paul Robinson,' George Gleed, Con Tol-man Tol-man and Frank Losee. Floral offerings were arranged by the Fifth Ward Relief Society. Among the out of town relatives rela-tives who on Saturday attended the funeral were Mrs. Mary L. Stott, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Nebeker Neb-eker of Whittier, California; Mrs. Frawlien Losee and Frank Losee and Mrs. E. Gleed of Phoenix; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Vail and Jack Peeples of Brigham City; Mrs. James Pierce of Pocateilo, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Carpita, Dillon, Montana. Mr. and Mrs. Woody Woodriver of Cheyenne; Roy Slack and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hanks of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Heber Slack and Mrs. Annette Peeples of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Nicky Veimo, Samuel Peeples of Pittsburg-, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Haslam, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Peeples, Salt Lake City; Con Tolman of Denver and Mr. and Mrs. Si Berthelson.
