The Tri-City Motor Co. has purchased the Ford Agency and garage f acilities, f or-merly or-merly operated by the Alpine Motor Mo-tor Co. According to Wendell S. Lambert, Lam-bert, manager of Tri-City, the takeover will be celebrated with an openhouse on Saturday, April 2. All former customers of Alpine Al-pine Motor Co. and other friends are cordially invited. "There will be door prizes and refreshments for everyone," Mr. Lambert said. He has been associated assoc-iated with the automotive industry indus-try 22 years. He was bom in Salt Lake City but lived in Nevada most of his life. He is presently a member of the White Pine County Chamber of Commerce and the East Ely Sanitation Board and continues temporarily as president of the Nevada Stake of the LDS Church. Mr. Lambert's wife is the former for-mer Alpha Robison, a native of Nevada and White Pine County, although she is not unfamiliar with this area as she resided in Provo for a period of four years while she attended and graduated gradu-ated from the BYU. Their family includes a daughter, daugh-ter, 22 years old, presently a member in the White Pine County Coun-ty High School, having graduated from the BYU in 19.59. Another son, 19, is enrolled as a freshman fresh-man at the BYU and two other boys, one 12 and the other 6, will reside with their mother and father in American Fork as soon as the present school term is completed. |
