PL Grove PTA Council Elects New Officers Last Wednesday The election meeting of the Pleasant Grove PTA Council was held March 24 in the Little Theater Thea-ter of the Pleasant Grove High School. A financial report was given and Mrs: Darrell C. Jensen Jen-sen introduced the nominating committee and the chairman of that committee, Mrs. Robert Sutch. The candidates for president, vice president and treasurer were introduced and ballots with the candidates names on were given to each member of the council to vote. While the votes were being counted, Elliot Howe put the fol lowing motion to the council: "I move that the Pleasant Grove PTA Council go on record as favoring fav-oring community olinic and appeal ap-peal to the medical to support and continue to promote, foster and protect community health, because be-cause community clinics facilitates facili-tates immunization of a large number of people, saving time of doctors and citizens as well." The motion was carried and written into the record. The names of .the winning candidates can-didates were naiad and Mr. Howe installed the following new officers: of-ficers: Mrs. David B. Blackhurst as president; Mrs. Ernest Smith as vice president and Mrs. Keith Warnick as treasurer. Mrs. Darrell Jensen, outgoing president, extended her ithanks to all of the officers and chairmen for the service to the council during dur-ing the past two years and the meeting was adjourned. |
