The parents of a Kansas City, Kansas, soldier, whose body they supposedly buried last summer were overjoyed when they read that his name was on a prisoner of war list submitted by the Communist Chinese command in Korea during the exchange-of-prisoner talks with the U.N. command. Mr. and Mrs. Henry S. Smith are shown with their daughter, Mary Ann, 10, as they read the good news concerning their son, Pvt. James W. Smith, 19. President Truman has warned that the Reds' prisoner lists could not be trusted as being absolutely accurate, so the Smiths can only hope. |
