Show Local News Alvin and Erva Kirk Dow den and Jimmy were guests 'Wednesday 'Wednes-day at the George McNees home. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Smith on Wednesday attended the funeral of their brother in law, George H. Meason at Spring"ville. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Simper and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Harvey Har-vey on Monday attended the funeral fun-eral of Edgar Johnson at Kamas. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Shields had as their dinner guests Friday Fri-day evening Mr. and Mrs. David Erickson and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Johnson of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pearce left Wednesday for California where they will spend several weeks with relatives in Los Angeles, Lynwood and other points. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Anderson left Friday afternoon for Los Angeles Ang-eles where they will visit for a few weeks with their son Dr. Dean A. Anderson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Hoover Washburn Wash-burn on Saturday evening Entertained Enter-tained a group of close friends at their home on Second North street. Table games and a tasty lunch were enjoyed, by Mr. and Mrs. Reed Crystal, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Spencer, Mr. and Mrs. Vir-on Vir-on Washburn, Mr. and Mrs. Du-vall Du-vall and the host and hostess. Corporal Kay Peterson has enjoyed en-joyed a short vacation with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Peterson. Corporal Peterson is head of the personnel department at Camp Irwin. He returned to his duties Sunday. |
