Show Parents Day At Pleasant Grove High School on Friday, January 25, With Fine Program Parents of Pleasant Grove High School students will play turn- about Friday, Jan. 25, when they , go to school and leave their 'teenagers 'teen-agers home do the everyday tasks performed by the homemakers. Purpose of Parents Day is to acquaint fathers and mothers with the progress of the school and of their children. Feature of the day will be a parents-teachers conference, con-ference, at which time progress of individual students may be scrutinized, according to Floyd S. Holm, principal. And there'll be no hiding of term report cards for those students stu-dents who would not be proud to have paters and maters look them over. No Siree! Term report cards will be given to the parents at school on that fateful day where all the marks will stand out like sore thumbs in some cases. After reading the report cards parents will be free to consult con-sult and discuss grades earned by their children. General Chairman of Parents Day is Eldon Westover. Other chairmen of the day include: Devotional period, William C. Smith, and John Fugal; assembly program, Estelle Fenton; ushering responsibilities, Theodore Rees; director of exhibits, Betty Henderson!; Hender-son!; schedule for the day, Harry Richards; advertising, Guy Hill-man; Hill-man; report and detail, A. J. Rogers; Rog-ers; invitations to parents, Melvin Miner; transportation and lunch, Principal Holm. |
