Thorue boms on Tuesday. The following young people accompanied ac-companied Leonard Walker to Dry Canyon on horseback Sunday to see some deer that have been -wintering there. The deer were evidently not at home but the young people enjoyed enjoy-ed the winter trip. The group: Bee Cobbley, Ardith Wright, Verl Shoell, Orpha Clark, Wendell Swen-son Swen-son and Lillian Wright. Miss Margaret Burns and Eva Baxter entertained at a shower in honor of Mrs. William Wright, formerly form-erly Miss Leah Baxter of this city. The evening ivas spent in playing games, singing and dancing, after which a dainty luncheon was served to the following guests: Mr. and Mrs. William Wright of American Fork, Mrs. Belle Baxter, Mrs. Agnes Burns, Mrc Elizabeth Baxter, Mrs. Noa, Baxter, Mrs. C. Warnick attended the Utah County Ladies Republican Club Banquet at the Hotel Roberts at Provo, Wednesday evening. The seminary students of the Lin-don Lin-don ward were entertained at a dancing danc-ing party Thursday evening In the Lindon Hall. A dainty luncheon was served to twenty guests. Mrs. Dean Van Wagoner and Miss Alda Pyper entertained their Sunday School class at the Van Wagoner home Wednesday. Games were play, ed and refreshments were enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wootton spent Sunday and Monday at Midway to visit their little daughter, Beverly, who la visiting indefinitely with her grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wootton of Midway. The Lindon Windsor Farm Bureau held an interesting meeting at the Lindon Hall, Tuesday at 2:09 p. m. Another meeting will be held Thursday, Thurs-day, February 20, important to farm bureau members. The Primary Associations of the Lindon and Windsor wards will hold a Valentine Party at the Lindon Hall, Saturday at 2 o'clock p. m. Moore, Jr., with their wives will make a trip to the temple next Wednesday, February 19.
