Show . o Old Folks Day At Alpine Next Friday The "old folks" of Alpine will be given their annual winter entertainment entertain-ment next Friday, February 21st, in the Alpine gymnasium. A day of real enjoyment " has been planned by the Old Folks Committee, and the guests will be royally entertained. The activities will commence with assembly and handshake fromi 11 a. m. to 12 o'clock noon, at which hour dinner will be served. According to the rumorg floating about the festive boards- will groan with the goodies being prepared for this meal. Commencing at 2 p. m. the following follow-ing program will be given: CoEumunity Singing "America" Prayer Chaplain Ernest Clark. Quartet Fred Strong and others. Speech of Welcome Lyman Moyle. Response Clara Bateman. Selection Forbes Family. Reading Miss Florence Jones. Piano selection Miss Stumm. Humorous sketch Richard Weiser. Duet Eva Forbes and Allen Fjeld. Following the program social chat will be enjoyed after which a lunch will be served, and in the evening, I commencing at 8:30 a dance will be given at which the music will be furnished fur-nished by the Forbes orchestra con-j con-j sisting of six pieces. |
