i ' ' j New Bishop's Counselor In First Ward Orval Mercer was sustained as second counselor to ' Bishop T. A. Greenwood of the First Ward Sunday night at the sacrament meeting held In the ward chapel. Recently Ernest J. Seastrand was released as first counselor to Bishop Greenwood, and made a member of the High Council of Alpine stake. i Clifford E. Young, Earl S. Green-( wood and Jesse M. Walker of the, stake presidency were present at the meeting and made brief remarks. Samuel F. Gdant, second counselor to Bishop Greenwood, was released and then sustained as first counselor. Both Mr. Grant and Mr. Mercer spoke. Mr. Seastrand was made second counselor to Bishop James T. Gardner Gard-ner in the ward January 27, 1922, and in July, 1928, when Bishop Gardner was released waa made first counselor counse-lor to Bishop Greenwood. His new duties will call him into stake work more than ward work. I
