For further information call 649-9461. 1227 Historical slide show and tour Tour the Miner's HospitalPark City Library and view the slide show presentation about its 80 year history and preservation. The program begins Dec. 6, 1984 and will continue Thursdays throughout the winter season. Tours begin at 5 p.m. tfn Refuse collection Garbage will be picked up Monday. Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, 1984 as usual for the regular routes. For the weeks of Dec. 25 through Dec. 31. 1984 and Jan. 1 through Jan 5, 1985 pickup will be delayed one day. Tuesday pickup on Wednesday, Wednesday pickup on Thursday, and so on. The new garbage schedule for Kamas will start Wednesday, Jan. 2, 1985. Please have all garbage out by curb side before 8a.m. 13 Ice climbing slide show A free ice climbing slide show will be presented by the Recreation Department arid White Pine Touring Center, Sunday, Dec. 30 at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Building. The public is invited to take a look at this exciting sport. For further information call 649-8701. 13 P.C. offices to close The Park City Municipal Corporation announces t lie Park City Offices at 445 Marsac Ave., will be closed Dec. 24, 25 and Jan. 1. 13 Adopt-a-Horse program Wild horse and burro adopters no longer will be charged transportaion costs for animals shipped from one adoption center to another in the Bureau of Land Management's Adopt-a-Horse program, which finds foster homes for wild horse and burros removed from public lands in the West. The cost of adopting a horse or burrow now will be the same everywhere in the nation: $125 per horse, $75 per burro. (Previously, costs ranged up to $215 and $140.) Free and open to the public. 1227 Three-man basketball tourney The three-man basketball tournament has been rescheduled for Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. at the Treasure Mountain Middle School. There is a $15 entry fee and trophies will go to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. Registration will take place the night of the tournament. Call 649-6670 for more information. 1220 Avalanche seminar The University of Utah's Division of Continuing Education will offer "Leisure Experience: Mountain Avalanche Seminars" in three classes starting Jan. 7, Jan. 21 and Feb. 4. The course is taught by veteran rock climber and skier Harold Goodro who will provide students with a basic working knowledge of group safety, route finding and minimizing risks. Appointments are available for morning, afternoon and evening clinics. Examinations are performed by a nurse practitioner. Services include physical exams, Pap tests, counseling and education, VD screening, pregnancy testing and contraceptive supplies. Costs are reasonable.
