Show Experts snowed by trivia test? Evidently, most of you were too busy digging out to dwell on such obscure topics as the Tonight Show. Our trivia quiz was not answered this week, leaving a lonely free sandwich at the Main Street Deli. No one told us that Paul Anka wrote the "Tonight Show" theme, "Here's Johnny;" that the climax of "North by Northwest" took place at Mount Rushmore; and that Corke Pepper and Raye Ringholz were the two sisters associated with the Kimball Art Center. Surely a free sandwich will help strengthen you for the Christmas labors ahead. ("It just might, but don't call me Shirley!") Tackle the questions below then contact the Park Record at 649-9014 or come to our offices at 419 Main St. before Tuesday noon. 1. What was Rube Goldberg known for? 2. What TV show of the 1960s and '70s filmed roving celebrities as they shot up deer, bears, tigers, and other denizens of the animal world? 3. What firm was bought by Summit Savings? |
