Show Prospectors are on the move The Park City Prospectors group performed a ribbon-cutting ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially official-ly welcome the Park Avenue Burger King to the business community Nov. 25. Manager Mana-ger Vern Richards cut the ribbon with employees Cath-leen Cath-leen Savage, Debra Thompson Thomp-son and Steve Winchester looking on. Members of the Prospectors, Kris Rodman, Kim Streit and Holly Conner, Con-ner, extended the best wishes wish-es of the group and the Park City Chamber Bureau. Richards was presented with a watercolor print of Park City. The Prospectors were also busy on Dec. 1 with two ribbon-cuttings for new r shops on Main Street. The first was at Cabin Fever, a novelty card shop owned by Jim McAndrew and David Dean of Salt Lake City, managed by Julie Bertagnole. Bertag-nole. McAndrew cut the ribbon and received a Cecile Johnson print of Park City. The second ceremony was at 368 Main St., which houses two new businesses: the Old Soft Shoe with Jim Green manning the scrissors, and Sweaters Only, owned by John Crandall and managed by Linda Myers. Prospector members Holly Conner, Kris Rodman and Joni Peters congratulated the owners and managers on their new ventures. 1 |
