Show Ski report Park City Ski Area As of Wednesday, the Park City Ski Area was reporting an 83-inch base with 19 inches of new snow on top. The gondola and all 11 chair-lifts chair-lifts were open, as were all 70 trails, plus Jupiter, Scott's and Blueslip bowls. Packy Longfellow, public information infor-mation director for the ski area, said this year's complete opening was the earliest in its 21-year history. his-tory. Deer Valley Resort Russ Veenema, marketing director direc-tor for Deer Valley, reported a 60-inch 60-inch base and 13 inches of new snow Wednesday morning. He said the area will open "on unskied snow" on Saturday, Dec. 10. Opening will be all 32 trails at the area, and all six chairlifts. ParkWest ParkWest was reporting an 86-inch 86-inch base on Wednesday in preparation for their opening Dec. 9. Sixteen inches of new snow came from Tuesday's storm. A total of 41 trails (the . entire area) and all seven chairlifts are due to open Friday. |
