Show Business women invited to one-day conference A one-day conference for women inor wanting to get into the world of business, is scheduled for Thursday, March 21, in the Rampton Technology Building of Utah Technical Techni-cal College at Salt Lake. Women like Vee Carlisle, Dr. Reba Keele, Ann Marie Boyden, Pat Latham, and Alice Durant are among the speakers. Jackie Nicholes, who received the Women of the Year in Small Business award, is the keynote speaker. And Sally White, assistant to the president, at Mrs. Fields Cookies, will tell the Debbi Fields story at the conference luncheon. Special workshop sessions will help participants with such subjects as home-based businesses, time management, computers, marketing, market-ing, image building, advertising, and entrepreneurship. Titled "Before You Open the Door the conference is geared to all women who would like to do better in business. The $12.50 registration includes luncheon and parking, with sessions running from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Ample parking close to the building should be available. For women with young children, a special day care center is available at a fee of $7.60 per child. Advance reservations for this service must be made by calling 967-9366 no later than March 19.
