On Mar. 12, a Houston, Texas woman, Barbara Morrison, reported that her car was parked at the Resort Center when thieves broke into the auto, stealing $260 in goods. Another Texas resident, Dale Fox, reported to the Park City police March 12 that his car was burglarized of items worth $148 while it was parked in the Park City Ski Area parking lot. Also on March 12, Juanita Sauvage of Colorado told police that a 35-mm camera and a pair of cross-country ski boots were stolen from her pick-up truck while it was parked in the underground parking at the Resort Center. The goods are valued at $535. On March 10, Lance Hammett of Salt Lake City reported to police that while his car was at the ski area parking lot, a rear window was broken and a purse was stolen. The purse contained a gold watch valued at $250. A Beverly Hills, California woman, wo-man, Kristine Shutt, told police on March 10 that her car was burglarized while it was parked at the Snow Park parking lot in Deer Valley. According to the report a window in the car had been broken and $2,180 worth of goods taken. Brian Jecker of Park Ciiy told police on March 9 that a Minolta camera worth $500 was taken from his car while it was parked in Swede Alley. A Summit Park man, Poop Stewart told police on March 9 that $130 in cash was taken from the pocket of a shirt in his auto while it parked at Sneakers Club in Park Meadows. Peter Lynch, Marblehead, Mass. reported the theft of $365 worth of goods from his auto on March 6 while it was parked at the Park City Ski Area. On March 11, Joanna Brown reported to the Park City Police Department that someone had broken into the Racquet Club condo 5j' she is renting and removed credit cards and jewelry. No value was t listed on the missing goods. k Also on March 11, Tom McCabe b told police that goods totaling $1,784 X were stolen from the Park Avenue Condominium apartment where he is f, staying. Entry was made into the 4 apartment through the balcony door, j according to the report. ' Dr. Bertram Lukin, Berkeley Cal. told police on March 1 1 that the Park I Avenue Condominium in which he is j staying was burglarized. According to his report, a 20 inch Sears Color p TV set was stolen along with a f, Norelco Dictaphone and a Sony gjj Walkman. The goods are valued at j $750. . S Jeffery T. Fumess, 2431 E. Ninth South St., Salt Lake City was arrested for DUI March 9 after being involved in two hit-and-run acci- & dents. He was booked in the Summit County Jail for DUI and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident. fe Also this week, Park City police took reports on six cases of ski theft. i |
