Show Public hearings Four public hearings have been scheduled during today's meeting of the Park City Council scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. in the Marsac Building. The first calls for public input on r a proposed set of architectural guidelines to be applied to all construction con-struction other than single-family homes outside the Historic District. Copies of the proposed guidelines have been distributed to local architects ar-chitects and designers . The second hearing asks for public comment on a proposed ordinance or-dinance to regulate the installation of satellite dish antennas. The third hearing will focus on the approval of a revenue bond for the Main Street water line. The city has negotiated a $300,000 loan to be repaid at a rate of 7.3 percent. Water connection fees from Main Street businesses are expected to be the primary source for repaying the bond. No impact on the water rate structure is anticipated. The fourth hearing will concern the rezoning of a parcel in the Swede Alley area east of the Egyptian Egyp-tian Theatre from HR-1 to HCB to allow the construction of a 360-space 360-space parking structure and up to 70,000 square feet of office space. Construction on the project, by the Silver Mill partners, is scheduled to begin this summer. |
