Show PROGRESS IS SLOW ON' DEPOT The progress of the work on the new Harr.man freight, depot is being hampered bv the non-arrival t material, ma-terial, and the force of men employed on the structure h.'is been necessarily reduced as n consequence. The brick work on the ofllce building build-ing has been completed and much of the comic? work also has been finished. fin-ished. .Thf work on the ofllce part of the deiot is going steadily along, as the material shortage does not effect the construction of this part of the building. Corrugated Fteel. which should have b'-en shipped from eastern east-ern plants several weeks ago. has not reached Ogden, and it Is this fact which is hindering the work on the depot proper. While a greater part of the big structure Is ro-fed. the workmen ran out of material before the work was completed, and are still waiting for the steel to arrive. The doors for the depot receiving and loading department are also due to arrive, but have not made their appearance, ap-pearance, and are another source of delay. The work on the? foundations for the umbrella sheds Is nearly completed, and all of the roadways paralleling them have been rolled and are In excellent ex-cellent condition. The flooring, which is of cement.and the scant woodwork of the freight de-pot de-pot is nearly all completed, and with the arrival of the tardy material the depot will be readv for service. |
