Show LIVELY AT THE PAIR GROUNDS Buildings and Sheds Are Being Erected and Everything Put in Order for the Four-State Fair Wild West Show Will Appear There Tomorrow. These, are busy days at the Four-State Four-State Fair Grounds. A monster sheep shed Is being erected. The cattle stalls that were formerly at the north end of the fair grounds have been moved to the southwest corner. The following: rma arc busily engaged in doing the work: Masters & Pen-man, Hogan & Ware. 1'nander & Haudley. All of these are recognized as fair contractors by the Carpenters' union. Thousands of loads of dirt have been hauled to fill up the space where the sheep sheds have been erected. Hundreds of loads of rubbish that has accumulated during the year are being hauled away.. The three large buildings formerly covered with canvas can-vas have been boarded up ou the sides and ends and only canas roofs will be used this year. Dr. Howe, the manager of (he Four-State Four-State Fair, is busy from early morn ing until Into at night. Entries for" exhibition of articles are now being made at the ofllce of the talr over the Standard business otlice, where a young lady Is acting as private secretary secre-tary to the manager, anil will be pleased to give the entry tags to all exhibitors so they can take their articles ar-ticles to the Fair Grounds the day hc-vfore'the hc-vfore'the fair begins, without stopping to enter ths exhibits at the secretary's office. Entries should be made immediately, immediate-ly, and before the 21st of September nit the above headquarters. Entry tags will be given 10 each person ami will be preserved until September 2-. which will 1)0 the order for the entry of exhibits. Tomorrow the great Cheyenne Frontier Days 'Wild. Weft Show will appear at the Fair Grounds. The show comes direct from the State Fair at Sacramento, Cal.. and has been the great attraction at that fair. |
