Penquite .one of Colorado's early settleis, sat bolt upright in his buggy, the reins tightly gripped in both hands, while the old family horsi ambled down Uie country roads ta the Penquite home here. Numerous passersby hailed the old man, who, was a familiar figure in Ibis part of the country, but it was not discovered that he was dead until un-til a neighbor steipped the horse to ask Pe-nqolte for a lift Physicians declared Penquite's deat'v. due to heart disease aud said that it must have occurred at least two hours before the body was discovered. |
