It is claimed that non-union men work at half the union scale or for most anything they can demand from the employer, thus enabling the contractor con-tractor to submit lower figures on contract work. The uniou men allege that such methods are detrimental to the art, and that the work so done is oftentimes inferior. They wish to organize the shops |
