C.. but did not go overseas VM because of physical disability, and I t after short service was retired from J f , the army at his own request. f During the Spanish-American war f fcj General Wedgewood was a captain In h j a Utah light artillery company and in t t Vr( his early service with the military was : J a private In the Utah national guard. I f fj !ln 1913 General Wedgewood was ap- . pointed a member of the national mill' j ta-y board by the secretary of war- Be- 's ' fore this, he had served as adjutant I ' general of Utah.
