WITH 1TLEBS: LOCKED, FALL TO i BESTH 111 LIKE 1 Reports from the Brldger national forests In Wyoming, received at the, local "forest service offices, are to tho effect ihat two buck deer, interlock ing their horns while fighting, fell Into Brldger lake and were drowned. 1 The horns were recovered by forest rangers and it was found that tho com bined strength of several men was not sufficient to break the interlocked horns loose. Tho elk situation in that district Is much better, the elk leaving the bottoms bot-toms and side hills to graze abovo tho timber line, where winds have blown the snow away. Recent good weather Is reported to have materially relieved the hay situation situa-tion in that vicinity. 00 I |
