Show Standard Editor and Salt j Lake Young Lady to be Married Today Miss Molly Burris. daughter of Mrs. Nellie and the Into Judge Burris of Salt Lake City, and Darrell J. Green-well, Green-well, editor of the Ogden Standard, are to be married at 5 o'clock this aft-1 ornoon at the home of the Rev. Elmer' I. Goshen of the First Congregational church in Salt Lake. CONCERT ENJOYED , The Nichols' Ladies' Band gave a concert at the academy of the Sacred ' i Heart on Wednesday evening, Janu-'i ary 2S. .,The program was one of the most interesting and unusual of the , school year, and will be remembered t as a real musical event by all who-r heard it. It represented a pleasing t variety that could have- been dictated only by refinemenL good musical taste and an exquisite regard for the choice i of the audience. ' MRS. ZELLER HOSTESS Mrs. "Mary Zellcr was hostess to six friends at luncheon last Tuesday at her home in honor of Mrs. Walter Swarfager of Milwaukee, who has come' to Ogden to make her home. NEW TEACHERS AT WEBER NORMAL Weber Normal college has been fortunate for-tunate in securing the services or three new instructors. They are Dora Beck Barlow, Aurelia Bennlon and Chnrles E. Barrett. They are graduate gradu-ate of the University of Utah, and Miss Bennlon holds an A. B. degree, while Mrs. Barlow and Mr. Barrett hold the decree of B. S. The Incoming students at mld-ear raised Weber's enrollment to 900, but President Al-dous Al-dous Dixon, with the aid of the faculty has been able to handle the situation splendidly. |
