Show TRIBUTE IS PHD TO JACK BRETT B? READ BROS. The firm together with all the employes' em-ployes' take this means of expressing their most sincere regret over the loss of one of the most faithful employes nnd associates, John Bretjt, who was suddenly stricken down by the dread disease. He had been n faithful employe em-ploye of the J. G. Read and Brothers company for tho past ten years. As an employe he was our head machine operator. He was "our Jack" honest, hon-est, energetic, ambitious. As a mechanic me-chanic ho was alnong the Very best. Up until the last minute he had put heai't and soil into making war harness har-ness for Undo Sam. While we regret re-gret in the extreme tho loss of so faithful and valued an employe, wo arc consoled in tho fact that he died in the service of his country as well as his followmen. As an associate he was kind and obliging and always willing to lend a hand in a cheerful way to ono in need. The vacancy caused by his loss will he most keenly felt by us all, but may it bo our pleasure together with his family, relations and friends to take consolation in the fact that his cheerful cheer-ful disposition, his many good qualities quali-ties and his valued services will live on forever.
