Our medical men should be able to give us information as to the source of our -weakness in attempting to limit the ravages of a serious epidemic. ' Our quarantine regulations fall far short of accomplishing appreciable re-' re-' strictions. in fact there has been little ' or no quarantining except in a general gen-eral way. , It is just possible we "will give up I the Idea that quarantine does good and rely more fully on serums as pre-j pre-j ventive and curative, or devise a face j j mask which will asffectlvcly exclude j the germs as do gas masks keep out j the deadly gas of war. ! |
