Show Deaths and Funerals CULTON Funeral services for Mrs. M. O. Culton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Yerger, will be held Thursday at J 2 p. m. in Ogden City cemetery. Mrs. I Culton died of influenza at Buffalo, N. Y., October 18. GARNER Funeral services for Annie An-nie M. Garner were held at 3:30 p. m. Tuesday in Ogden City cemetery. Mrs. Jones and Miss Vera Jones sang, "I'll Go Where You Want Me to Go" and "Sometime We'll Understand." Tho speakers were Oswell Jackson, Leroy Wright, Apostle D. O. McKay and Bishop Bis-hop W. O. Ridges. The grave was dedicated dedi-cated by Bishop George Browning. , MARSHALL Word of the death of Mrs. Jeanette Marshall of Salt Lake was received yesterday morning by her sister, Mrs. Joseph Wheelwright, 750 Twenty-sixth i street The funeral will be held at 1 o'clock today In the Salt Lake cemetery. DRYSDALE The funeral of Mrs. Blanche A. Drysdale will be held in-Plain in-Plain City cemetery today. Tho fun-oral fun-oral cortege will leave the Larkin chapel at 1 p, m. and services will bp held at the grave. CLIFFORD The funeral services for Leroy .Clifford were held In North Ogden cemetery at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday Tues-day morning. ALDER The body of Mrs. Josephine Jose-phine Alder was sent to Salt Lake at 3:30 p. m. yesterday. Services and burial will be in Salt Lake. MAW Funeral services for James A. Maw, son of Robert Maw, were held yesterday morning in Plain City cemetery. ceme-tery. WANGSGARD Funeral services for Miss Edna Wangsgard will be held in Huntsville cemetery this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. WILSON The funeral of William Gt Wilson, pioneer of Weber county, will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday in Ogden City cemetery. ALLRED Prayer services over the body of Heber Allred, 15-year-old son of Melvin A. and Laura P. 'Ha'minon Allred, will bo held at 6 p. m. today. The body will be shipped by Larkln and Son to St Anthony, Idaho, for buriel. COLE Bishop George E. Browning of the Second ward conducted obsequies obse-quies for Mrs. S. P. Cole at the grave in the city cemetery yesterday afternoon after-noon nt 2 o'clock. Words of consolation consola-tion were spoken to the bereaved relatives rela-tives by Bishop Browning and John McQuarrie. The grave was dedicated by E. A. Larkln. DENKERS The funeral of Peter Denkers, former Ogden printer, was held at the city cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Bishop D. H. Ensign officiated. President Alva Sco-villo Sco-villo and Martin Dalebout were the speakers. Dedication of the grave was performed by E. A. Larkin. BLAES Mrs. Teresa M. Blaes, wifo of J. H. Blaes, died at 5:15 last night at their homo In Evanston after an illness ill-ness lasting several weeks. Sho 'was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. O'Connor, 21-17 Grant avenue, and was formerly a student at the Sacred Heart academy. Besides her husband, she is survived by her parents, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. E. B. Thinnes of Evanston; James E. Rosaline, Harry T. Raymond, Maurice, Louise, Edmund and William O'Connor. O'Con-nor. Harry T. Flowers may be sent to the chapel. DRYSDALE Mrs. Hazel Stlmpson Drysdalo aged 23, wife of Wm. Drys-dale, Drys-dale, and cousin of Mrs. Drysdale who died day before yesterday died at 11:45 this morning at 2348 Jefferson avenuo of influenza She is survived by her husband and two sons Raymond and Harmon, also her parents and several sev-eral brothers and sisters. The body was taken to Larkln's. Funeral arrangements ar-rangements will be 'arranged later. BUTLER Alvln Alva Butler died at the family residence West Twelfth street at 11:10 a. m. today. He Is the son of George IT. Butler and Roscan-nle Roscan-nle Clack Butler. He was born July 21. 1887 and Ik survived b' the fol- - - lowing hrothers and sisters: Parley, Harhiond, Royal, Elsie, Mrs. Lottlo Anderson, Mrs. Aettenia Stone, Miss iVelda, Mrs. Nellie Poulson, Levina, jRhea, Thelma, all of Ogden. His brother bro-ther Norvln I. Butler is now In France. Tho body of Alvln Butler will be held at Lindquist's pending funeral ar-I ar-I rangements. |
