Show Following an assuring message, word was received this niomlng by J. J. Malone, 2227 Qulncy avenue, that his son Harry Malone, had died of pneumonia at Camp Kearny. On Monday a telegram' came, announcing an-nouncing that the boy was ill, but last evening a second dispatch was encouraging en-couraging and so this morning's news was a severe shock to the family. Tho young man, who was twenty years of ago, left Ogdon three months ago and was mado a member of the Thirty-second infantry at Camp Kear-.ny. Harry Malone was born In Ogden on October 3, 189S. He spent his high school years in Ogden and was quite proficient on the violin. Ho was a popular member of tho high school orchestra. He was an expert ex-pert on electrical work and had been employed by tho Great Western Sugar Su-gar company and Amalgamated Sugar company. He leaves a father and mother, a brother Lewis and sister Mrs. Archie C. Docker. The body will bo shipped home and j funoral arrangements decided on la- j tor. |
